Dr. June Ahn

Faculty Director

Dr. Ahn joined the UCI faculty in 2018 through a newly created position, as Associate Professor of Research-Practice Partnerships. His research focuses on designing new technologies and learning spaces, in collaboration with educator partners, to explore how to improve education for all learners. He brings particular expertise in design methods, learning technologies, data use and visualization, and research-practice partnerships. (http://ahnjune.com/)

Dr. Ahn assists the Dean's office to shape and direct the OCEAN initiative, to support the network of local partnerships, oversee doctoral student mentorship, and develop network-wide strategic projects.

** In the 2018-2019 year, we will be actively recruiting a Director for Community Education Partnerships to assist with partnership development and operations. Be on the lookout for that announcement.
