The UC Irvine School of Education’s Organizing Collaboration for Educational Advancement Network (OCEAN) catalyzes research-practice partnerships (RPP) by connecting doctoral students and faculty with K-12 schools and community nonprofit organizations across Orange County, California, and nationally.

Using a relationship and trust building approach, community partners inform and shape the focus of each partnership, working alongside UCI faculty and doctoral students to study and create solutions to pressing regional and community challenges.
